Thanks so much for sharing information about Liberating Structures! Just last week, I used Troika with senior executives dealing with a challenge. Participants seemed to gain useful advice during the event, however a couple of participants indicated that they could have used more time to explain the "wicked" problem they were facing. We had time for each person to have 15 minutes of dedicated time, and I encouraged them to use this construct after hours--but they seem to like to have someone provide the framework and keep time. I'd estimate that about 60% of participants were satisfied with their time and about 40% wanted more time dedicated to their issue. Other than adding a second round, what other Liberating Structures would you suggest? Thanks in advance for sharing your advice! Sherri
Sorry for the l o n g delay. After initial discomfort with the short timing, my experience is that Troika users begin to trust and rely on intuition of others. The issue fades away. Hope this helps.
